Our journey started when our families set out to live a different life, one off the grid, away from the ordinary. Our families have been exploring Canada, USA and Baja Mexico for over 4 years in our RVs. We have stayed at hundreds of RV parks, National Parks and open land. Having traveled well over 50,000 miles combined, we’ve always wondered when and where we could we create our own unique RV park.
We shared a desire to find somewhere warm to spend our winters and away from all the hustle and bustle of traditional life. After we committed to traveling into Baja we knew we were onto something. Spending New Year’s Eve in shorts and T-shirt, finding great food, watching the kids playing in the ocean ticked all the boxes. This is when we choose to purchase our first property in Baja and create extra camping spots for friends and family in our growing RV Community.
We chose Los Cerritos, a tucked-away surf town on the Pacific, for its unique vibe. Our initial property was meant only for us, but the desire for community was too strong. We quickly developed space for 8 large RVs, focusing on the essentials first: a reliable water tower and a robust septic system.
Being off the grid, we rely on the expertise of our solar-equipped RV community for power, fostering a culture of sustainability and resourcefulness. Since opening our doors, we've been fully booked, proving that others share our vision.
Mareas del Alma is more than just parking; it's family-oriented. The communal fire pit is the heart of the camp, where travelers from around the world share stories and laughter. We’re excited to be expanding with a beautiful palapa-covered sitting area with ocean views and new partial hookup lots—all designed to deepen that communal experience.

Mareas del Alma (meaning 'Soul Tides) is designed specifically for the modern RVer seeking comfort, security, and connection.

Mareas del Alma is perfectly positioned in Los Cerritos, a vibrant, quickly-growing community right on the Pacific Ocean, offering an ideal blend of relaxation and activity.
